Police Seek Person Of Interest In Murder of Delphi Girls

Indiana State Police are hoping someone can help them identify a man who was seen in a photo walking along the Delphi Historic Trail around the time that two 13-year old girls were there on Monday.

The two girls went missing and crews searched through the night to find them. Volunteers found the bodies of Abby Williams and Libby German Tuesday afternoon less than a mile from where they were dropped off. Their bodies were found on private property about 50 feet from the shore of Deer Creek.

Police have not released any information on where the photo came from, but they are hoping to speak to the man regarding what he may have seen that day. Indiana State Police also want to talk to anyone who was in the area Monday afternoon.

No cause has been released in connection to the girls deaths, but police say “foul play” was involved.
