The long-standing fight between the City of Muncie and Delaware County over 9-1-1 and E-M-S service is apparently coming to an end.
The County Commissioners sent a letter to Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler saying they had accepted a formal letter agreeing to drop their argument over the service which has been going on since last February. By agreeing to drop plans to form separate services, the two sides have agreed to work together again to provide emergency services…whether inside or outside of the city limits.
Though the two sides still have disagreements over the service, they all agree that they will work together to provide emergency services.
