The Superintendent of Muncie Community Schools has effectively been fired.
Steven Baule’s contract runs out at the end of June and a state-appointed emergency management team said Baule’s contract will not be renewed. Neither the Muncie School board nor the emergency manager offered any additional comments.
Muncie Schools have a multi-million dollar deficit and the state took over full control of the district late last year.
