Betty Burkhart has been a member of the Zoning Appeals Board since it was founded in 1967. But now, after 51-years on the board, Burkhart has decided to retire. She’s 91-years old now.
Burkhart is the longest serving board member of any kind in Miami County and she may be one of the longest serving board members anywhere in the State of Indiana.
