Marion Police are investigating a strong-armed robbery that allegedly occurred along a city street Monday night.
20-year old Markisus Christopher told police he was walking along Boots Street when two men jumped him, beat him and took 200-dollars from him. Christopher refused hospital treatment and told police he knew his attackers and identified them to investigators.
Police say one of the alleged attackers has refused to to talk to police and the case has been turned over to the Prosecutor’s office. No arrests have yet been made in the case.
