Several incumbent office holders have filed to run again in the upcoming Primary Election.
Grant County Circuit Court Judge Mark Spitzer has filed for another term. So has Superior Court Two Judge Dana Kenworthy, Sheriff Reggie Nevels and County Prosecutor Jim Luttrull Junior.
Former County Coroner Stephan Dorsey has filed to seek the office again. He’s been the Deputy Coroner the past four years. Current Coroner Chris Butche has chosen not to seek re-election.
County Commissioner Mike Burton has filed to seek another term. Current County Council President Jim McWhirt has filed for the Republican nomination for County Auditor. Current Auditor Roger Bainbridge is barred by state law from seeking a third term.
Candidate Filing continues for the May Primary through February 9th.
