A Sweetser woman has been charged in connection with trying to burn down a Marion convenience store last year.
Marion Police have charged 34-year old Kimberly Fritch with Arson for allegedly trying to use a Molotov Cocktail to start a fire outside the Circle-K Convenience Store on South Washington Street in July of last year. The bottle used in making the device failed to break when it was thrown against the building and did not ignite.
According to the “Chronicle-Tribune,” police say they used surveilence video and witness accounts to charge Fritch, who also faces charges of Neglect of a Dependent for allegedly having her young child with her at the time of the incident.
