More than four-thousand babies born in Indiana in February will receive reds hats, courtesy of the American Heart Association’s “Little Hats, Big Hearts” program.
American Heart Association staff will deliver the tiny hats to 50 hospitals across the state this week. The hats were hand made by more than 200 volunteers.
Community Howard Regional Health, St. Vincent-Kokomo and Dukes Hospital in Peru are among the hospitals taking part in the program.
February is American Heart Month.
