A Howard County man is in the Madison County Jail following a high-speed chase Sunday afternoon.
The driver refused to stop for an Indiana State Police officer along State Road 13 near Elwood and continued south on the highway, eventually crashing into two vehicles in Lapel before finally being stopped when officers used stop sticks to blow out his tires in Pendleton.
21-year old Jonathon Cordell of Greentown now faces multiple charges.
No one was injured in the crashes or pursuit.
