Indiana State Police have arrested the former Wabash City Wastewater Treatment Plant billing clerk for allegedly stealing more than 150-thousand dollars from the city.
38-year old Angelina Monroe of Sharpsville, turned herself at the Wabash County Jail after learning there was a warrant for her arrest. She’s facing charges of Official Misconduct, Theft and Corrupt Business Influence.
An investigation by Indiana State Police accuses Monroe of stealing more than 152-thousand dollars from the city of Wabash between 2013 and 2017 when she worked as the billing clerk for the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
