A Kokomo man who failed to return to the Howard County Work Release Center two weeks ago now faces Escape charges. He also faces charges of Burglary and Battery for what he did while away from the Work Release Center.
Police say 33-year old Christopher Daviess and a teenager broke into a home and robbed the owner and struck him. They were captured a short time later.
Instead of the Work Release Center, Daviess is now in the Howard County Jail.
