Indiana Ag Markets Could Get Caught In Tariff War

Indiana farmers could get caught in the middle of the escalating trade war between the U-S and China.

China is a 320-million-dollar market for Indiana pork producers. That market share is expected to shrink with China’s announcement of a 25-percent tariff.

But Indiana Farm Bureau spokesman Bob White says he’s worried about what comes next. He says the next tit-for-tat tariff could hit soybeans, beef, corn and ethanol.
