Area unemployment rates continue to be low, in fact all of the jobless rates for area counties went down in April.
Grant County’s jobless rate dropped three-tenths of a percentage point last month to 3.3-percent…the lowest in recent memory. Delaware County had the same rate.
The highest jobless rate in this area is in Miami County…but that’s only 3.6-percent. The lowest jobless rate in this area is in Wells County at just 2.4-percent.
