Ground was broken this morning on a 6.6-million dollar expansion and renovation for Delta High School.
Work on the project will start next week and be done in two phases. The first phase should be completed in December of this year. The second phase will begin next January and be finished in June of 2019.
The expansion and upgrades at Delta include new Science Labs, updating technology and enlarging classroom space. Other improvements include new safety and security enhancements for the main entrance and modernization and esthetic changes throughout the building.
