Howard County residents are encouraged to donate blood Thursday in honor of a fallen Howard County Sheriff’s deputy.
A blood drive in honor of Deputy Carl Koontz will be held Thursday from noon to 6 p-m, at the Calvary Baptist Church on West Boulevard in Kokomo.
All blood types are needed and organizers are hoping for 75 donations during Thursday’s blood drive.
