Kokomo is no longer a “dying city.” That’s according to the U-S Census Bureau which says Kokomo had a small increase in population between 2016 and 2017. Mayor Greg Goodnight says it’s due in part to “strategic investments” made in quality of place in the city.
Bloomberg recently ranked Kokomo as having the third-best jobs improvement in the country since the 2008 recession, when local unemployment topped 20-percent.
