The new Executive Director at the Boys and Girls of Grant County is enjoying his new job, because he’s been going there most of his life.
Jeffrey Hahn is a Marion native who grew up going to the club and then became a paid volunteer there four years ago as an Americorp employee, working as a grant-funded member of the staff. He recently took over as Executive Director when Julia Harmon left to begin a family.
Hahn says working at the Boys and Girls Club is truly a labor of love. He says the greatest need there is funding.
Hahn says another need is volunteers to coach teams and to mentor the kids at the Boys and Girls Club.
