The death of a Marion man whose body was found inside a vacant apartment house Sunday has been ruled a homicide. An autopsy performed Monday on the body of 39-year old Brian Gochenour determined he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say two relatives found Gochenour’s body inside an empty duplex in the 34-hundred block of South Washington Street.
Though Gochenour’s death has been ruled a homicide, police are not releasing any other information about the killing.
Police do say the death does not appear to be related in any way to the murders of two other men last week at a Marion home on West Third Street.
The investigation into both cases is continuing.
