Howard County is on pace to experience a significant downturn in overdose deaths in 2018, according to new statistics from the Coonty Coroner.
But those same stats in a report from Coroner Steven Seele, show an increase in overdose deaths during April, May and June compared to first-quarter figures.
Howard County had a record 44 overdose deaths in 2017.
