The discovery of two bodies in Grant and Madison counties in the past couple of days are apparently linked to a homeless group in Anderson that was involved in drug activity.
The body of one man was found in a nature preserve near Mounds State Park Monday, which led to the discovery of a woman’s body in an abandoned home near Fairmount Tuesday.
Four people have been arrested in Madison County in connection to the deaths. Grant County Coroner Chris Butche says the deaths were an apparent result of drug activity in the Madison County area.
The body of 39-year old Trinity Parker of Anderson had apparently be inside the abandoned home near Fairmount since July 29th. An autopsy is planned on her body later today in Fort Wayne.
The other victim was identified as 36-year old David Phillips of Anderson.
