The body that was found inside an abandoned home in rural Grant County near Fairmount this week was positively identified yesterday as that of an Anderson woman who was apparently murdered in late July.
An autopsy confirmed that the body found Tuesday was that of 39-year old Trinity Parker. Authorities in Madison County say she was one of two people shot to death over alleged information about drug activity among a group of homeless people from Anderson who were all involved in drug activity. One of those people led police to the bodies of Parker and that of 36-year old David Phillips, whose body was found in a Madison County Nature Preserve on Monday.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the deaths and are now in the Madison County Jail.
