A Marion woman is expected to plead guilty today to several charges in connection with the case of her 10-year old daughter, who was molested and impregnated by the woman’s ex-boyfriend.
33-year old Jennifer Hand is expected to plead guilty to charges of Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Bodily Injury, Aiding in Child Molesting and Assisting a Criminal.
According to the “Chronicle-Tribune,” investigators said Hand left her daughter in the care of Nicholas Thrash, who molested the girl and got her pregnant when she was ten-years old. Thrash last week was sentenced to 160-years in prison after being convicted in the case.
Investigators say Hand also lied to authorities on several occasions about Thrash and her daughter’s pregnancy.
