More trains are traveling through Peru and not everyone is happy about it.
While more train traffic means increased business in Miami County, it’s also causing headaches through increases in blocked roads and highways…leading to traffic backups and congestion. Peru is a changing point for railroad crews.
Police say there’s little they can do to relieve the problem, based on the trains right to stop to change crews.
