Business owners, property owners and those with an interest in downtown Marion are invited to the second of Downtown Shareholders Meetings that are being held to help those with stakes in the downtown area get organized and the help they need to improve downtown Marion.
The meeting is set for 10 o’clock Wednesday morning at Marion City Hall.
Grant County Economic Growth Council President Tim Eckerle says one of the most important segments of Wednesday’s meeting is the language of what to do about downtown facilities and how to get help.
Eckerle says representatives of groups like the Indiana Landmarks Foundation and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs will be on hand at Wednesday’s meeting, along with city and county officials.
Anyone who lives, works or has a business interest in downtown Marion is invited.
