The Associate Press reports state environmental officials are planning to clean up nearly 200-thousand shredded tires left behind by a former Madison County recycling center.
Officials with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management estimate that cleaning up the Green Tire Reclamation site in Anderson could cost up to 262-thousand dollars and could take about a year to complete.
