Another area K-Mart store will close its’ doors for good in March.
Officials announced late Friday that the K-Mart in Peru will close for good in late March following a liquidation sale. A total of 80 Sears and K-Marts are included in the latest round of closures by Sears Holding Company, which filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy earlier this year.
The Gas City K-Mart closed in late October.
Once the Peru store closes in March, there will be only eight K-Marts left open in Indiana.
