Indiana Senator Todd Young says he will support an effort to turn the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore into a national park.
Young posted on Twitter Monday that he’s going to continue working to ensure Indiana Dunes National Park receives the recognition it deserves.
Northern Indiana Congressman Pete Viscloscy said this week that he believes such a designation would help attract more people to northwest Indiana and help the economy.
