Five people are in custody facing numerous felony counts in connection with a raid earlier this week at two Grant County locations. The raid was the result of a lengthy investigation.
Members of the Grant County Joint Effort Against Narcotics unit raided a home on County Road 300 West and a home on West 12th Street in Marion. During the raids, police confiscated more than five kilos of cocaine, along with weapons and a large amount of cash.
Arrested were 35-year old Roberto Montemayor Junior of Marion, 31-year old Courtney Daggett of Marion, and three Texas men…62-year old Michael Maxey, 37-year old Keith Maxey and 41-year old Mario Guerra. They face numerous charges including Dealing in Cocaine, Corrupt Business Influence, Money Laundering, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of firearms by Serious Violent Felons.
Police say more arrests and more charges are expected in the case.
