The ongoing partial federal government shutdown caused the Kokomo Public Library to cancel an event involving students this week.
The library had to cancel its’ “Out of This World Space Talk with an Astronaut” program slated for today at the library’s South Branch, which was part of its Discover Space exhibit. Students would have been able to talk to an astronaut via Skype.
It’s not clear if they’ll be able to re-schedule the event.
