Three area fire departments battled a house fire just east of Upland Sunday evening.
Firefighters from Upland, Matthews and Hartford City battled the blaze at a home on Grant County Road 600 South just east of Upland. The three departments needed nearly two hours to fully extinguish the flames.
Damage to the home was extensive. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
