More Thorough I-69 Repairs Planned

State officials are taking the next step in dealing with the dangerous potholes along portions of I-69 between Daleville and Anderson.

The Indiana Department of Transportation yesterday announced that it will close parts of the interstate between Anderson and Daleville to allow INDOT workers more space to patch the potholes.

The move comes after INDOT managers lowered the speed limit on the same stretch of I-69. Workers are going to work around the weather and won’t work during rush hour, but there’s no word when they’re expected to finish.
