A group of girls nicknamed “The Atomic Biscuits” is Howard County’s first all-girl scouting troop associated with the Boy Scouts of America.
The troop of seven girls from the Russiaville area made the idea official when the Boys Scouts opened its doors to girls for the first time in its 109-year history. The move came after the Cub Scouts program started accepting girls last year.
