Chris Stapleton and Dan + Shay lead all nominees for the 54th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, to be handed out Sunday (April 7) in Las Vegas. Chris and Dan + Shay each have six nominations. Reba will host the show on CBS.

The Academy of Country Music’s Party For A Cause events kick off tonight at various venues in Las Vegas. Running through Sunday, the events benefit ACM Lifting Lives.

Dan + Shay have the most country nominations for next month’s Billboard Music Awards. The guys have six nominations.

Florida Georgia Line will return to Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas later this year to headline four concerts. The shows, November 6, 8, 9 and 12, follow a five show run at the venue last December.

Reba McEntire will promote today’s release of her new album, Stronger Than The Truth, with an appearance today on CBS’ The Talk.

Garth Brooks will host a free soundcheck on April 19 at the University of Florida for students, the night before his show at the Gainesville University. Faculty and staff will be able to purchase tickets to the soundcheck with proceeds helping low income families send kids to college.

Dylan Scott is planning a second Bayou Stock Concert in his hometown of Sterling, Louisiana. This year’s event is set for September 21.

Dolly Parton’s likeness will appear on NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick’s No. 2 car when he takes to the track at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Brett Young will be a celebrity duet partner for American Idol contestants Lacey Booth and Riley Thompson on the show this Sunday night on ABC.
