Former Peru Meth House Being Converted into Recovery Center

The house at 171 W. 2nd Street in Peru, once the site of a meth lab, is being renovated and turned into a drug-recovery home for women. In March, Advantage Housing, a homeless prevention outreach, started renovating the house for a new outreach called All Things are Possible. According to the Kokomo Tribune, renovations are expected to be completed in June, with the outreach up and running by September. The outreach will be able to accommodate 8 to 10 women as they beat their addiction..
