Gas City is in the process of annexing land for an incoming solar park.
The 17-acre, 2.5 megawatt, solar park is being built by the Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA) on the city’s east side.
IMPA is paying to build the park and will in turn sell the power back to Gas City residents.
The park could be completed as early as Feb. 2020.
