The treats you’re feeding your dog could be making you sick.
Forty-five people, including three from Indiana, have been infected with salmonella since November, according to the Center for Disease Control.
The CDC believes the outbreak is linked to pig ear dog treats.
People can become infected from handling the treats or by coming into contact with a dog once it’s contracted the illness.
