Florida Georgia Line will honor teachers in the Nashville this Thursday at FGL House by offering free food and drinks as well as prizes and live music. In addition, the first 100 teachers through the door will get an autographed CD by the duo, though Brian Kelly and Tyler Hubbard won’t be on hand. That night their Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour will have them in Cincinnati.

Randy Travis’ memoir, Forever And Ever Amen: Faith, Family and Braving The Storms of Life, has won an audio award for narration by Rory Feek. The book, co-written by Randy, was released in May.

Randy Travis and wife Mary stopped by Nashville’s Metro Animal Care and Control shelter recently to take a tour and spend time with the animals. Randy posed for photos with a kitten and two dogs, which the shelter then named Randy and Travis. The dogs were adopted as soon as the photo hit the shelter’s website.
