Rural areas of Howard and Tipton counties are getting a broadband expansion.
Watch Communications, based out of Ohio, and Microsoft have partnered to provide internet access to those who don’t have it.
According to the Kokomo Tribune, Howard County will receive wireless technology on existing cell towers, water towers, grain elevators and other constructed towers.
According to the FCC, more than 673,000 people in Indiana do not have broadband access.
