Oil prices slide amidst U.S.-China trade war

Weakening demand and a trade war between the U.S and China are causing oil prices to slip.

West Texas Intermediate crude is down 21 cents a barrel, to $54.29 while International benchmark Brent crude is down 18 cents, to $58.35.

Prices appear to be following the same trend as last week when Brent lost more than 5% and WTI fell about 2%.
