The Marion Police Department is getting body cameras.
At the City Council meeting, Police Chief Angela Haley told councilors her department received a $130,000 federal grant, according to The Chronicle-Tribune.
The Tribune reports that the department will have at least 62 body cameras, one for every officer.
$30,000 will come from the city to help fund the cameras, following by an annual $54,000 to pay for cloud storage of the videos.
