MGH welcomes Amber Banks, NP-C, to Hospitalist Program

Marion General Hospital has welcomed Amber Banks, NP-C to its medical staff.

Banks earned her Master of Science in Nursing (nurse practitioner) and her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Kokomo. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Banks began her employment with MGH in 2005, working as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry and the Critical Care Department (CCD), and later as a unit shift manager in CCD. She also teaches adjunct at Indiana Wesleyan University.

She will join the physicians and nurse practitioners with the MGH Hospitalist Program.

The MGH Hospitalist Program provides patients with increased access to physician and nurse practitioner care during their hospitalization. Hospitalists only see patients in the hospital, which enables them to be more immediately available to treat patients and begin coordinating their care.
