Sam Hunt was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with DUI. Nashville police were notified of a car traveling the wrong way on a Nashville road. A field sobriety test revealed Sam’s blood alcohol to be .173, over twice the legal limit of .08 in Tennessee. He was arrested but released on $2,500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 17.

Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, and Kane Brown will present and Thomas Rhett and Shania Twain will perform during Sunday’s American Music Awards on ABC. Taylor Swift will perform and will be presented the Artist of the Decade award.

The third season of ABC’s American Idol with judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie begins February 16 on ABC.

Dolly Parton’s Netflix series Heartstrings is available starting today. The first show in the series is based on her hit Jolene and stars Julianne Hough and Brad Paisley’s wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley.

Luke Combs, Eric Church, Kane Brown, and Dustin Lynch will headline Country Thunder Arizona, April 16-19 in Florence. Others on the bill include Russell Dickerson, Ashley McBryde, and Chicks with Hits, a ‘90s country trio consisting of Pam Tillis, Terri Clark, and Suzy Bogguss.
