Marion City Court Judge Jason McVicker says he’ll be running for the Grant County Superior Court 3 seat.
Judge Warren Haas is the currently Superior Court 3 Judge, but he’s set to retire at the end of the year.
McVicker said Judge Haas has done a tremendous job as the Grant County Superior Court 3 Judge, and that his retirement brought about an opportunity for him to continue to serve Grant County.
McVicker added that it’s been an honor to be Marion’s city court judge. He’s a 1992 graduate of Marion High School and has practiced law for the past 20 years.
He spent 14 years as a prosecutor and six years as Marion city court Judge.
He’s also a partner at Spitzer Herriman Stephenson Holderead Conner & Persinger, LLP.
