INVASIVE PLANT WORKSHOP

Salamonie Lake is hosting an invasive plant removal workshop on April 6th at Majenica Marsh, which is located at state road 9 and 400 south in Huntington County.  Participants should meet at 9:30 that morning at Majenica Marsh to be part of this hands-on event.  Dawn Slack of the nature conservancy will be presenting.  Advanced registration is requested by April 3rd.  Please reserve your spot by calling (260) 468-2127.

MARION GRANT COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

The Marion-Grant County Humane Society’s Bow Wow- Meow Brunch and Basket Raffle is Saturday, April 6th at McCarthy Hall behind St. Paul Parish School in Marion.  Doors open at 9am to view baskets and purchase raffle tickets.  Brunch is served at 10:30am, and the basket winner drawings will be held at 11am.  Brunch tickets are 8 dollars and raffle tickets are 1 dollar each of 6 tickets for 5 dollars.  All proceeds will benefit the animals at the humane society. …

MHS SPEECH AND DRAMA SHOW
