Sam Adams 10 am to 2 pm
Samantha "Sam" Adams first stepped into a radio station in Oklahoma at the age of 13. On the advice of her mother, who worked at the station, Sam pursued a different career but was always drawn to radio. Resistance was futile! With more than 20 years experience in forecasting television weather, Chris has exceptional insight and experience. Chris is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and he's a big Cincinnati Reds fan. For him, growing up during the Big Red Machine days was an exciting time.
When Chris has a little spare time, he enjoys traveling, and has visited Japan, Central America and Europe. Chris says visiting far away places makes you appreciate all the great things we have here at home.

Lon Helton has been the host of CMT Country Countdown USA since its inception in 1992. Lon is Editor and Publisher of Country Aircheck, a country music and radio information service. He oversees the compilation of the weekly country chart, which is used in CMT Country Countdown USA. Lon's country radio career began in 1971. He spent 12 years as both personality and programmer at KLAK/Denver, WMAQ/ Chicago, and KHJ/Los Angeles. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Country Music Association, and has served as President and Chairman.
