The Marion-Grant County Humane Society is offering a reward for information on whoever left a dog in a cage that was found near the Mississinewa River this week frozen to death.
The adult, mix-breed dog was found inside a cage near the river Wednesday night near River Boulevard and Vine Street.
Humane Society officials say the dog’s death was an obvious case of animal cruelty of the worst kind. They are offering a 100-dollar reward for information on those responsible.
