A first-time political candidate wants to be the new Howard County Auditor. Jennifer Jack has filed for the Republican nomination to replace Brook Cleaver, who by law cannot seek a third term.
Jack has a legal background, and is currently employed by a local law firm.
Meanwhile, current Northwestern School Board member Bryan Miller has filed for the seat on the Howard County Council that is currently held by Council President Dick Miller. Miller has served on the Council since the 1970s, but hasn’t yet filed to run this year.
