Officials with the American Red Cross say the need for blood is critical, with supplies very low thanks to dozens of area blood drives having to be cancelled this month due to bad weather.
Red Cross officials say the cancellation of blood drives has left their supply critically low and they urge donors to give as often as possible to help alleviate the shortage.
The next blood drive in Howard County is coming up next Tuesday in Kokomo at the Crossroads Community Church from noon to 6.
