The Indiana Department of Health reported 31 more deaths from the Flu last week, bringing the number of Flu deaths to 167 this season.
In the Health Department’s weekly report on the state of the influenza virus, Flu activity continues to be high and widespread. Complaints in Emergency rooms across the state for flu-like symptoms is at a five-year high, and has sustained its volume since the beginning of the year.
Health Department officials still recommend getting a flu shot if you haven’t yet gotten one.
