Floodwaters are on the rise on many creeks and rivers across the northern third of Indiana due to heavy rains and melting snow and ice.
Several homes had to be evacuated in Carroll County Wednesday as the water rose. Flooded roads caused school delays in parts of Miami and Cass Counties and some roads are closed due to the flooding.
Police urge motorists not to drive through standing water anywhere.
